POSITION: Event Security

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Event Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Event Security for ASM Global Stockton Complex. This position is responsible for patrolling our venues during events, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and vendors while on premise. You may also be responsible for securing property during load in/out for events at our venues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Enforce building security and safety rules. This may include wanding, visual searches and/or pat downs of guests.

+ Stand guard during events. Tour post periodically to ensure the safety of guest, staff, vendors, ect.

+ Provides event security in front of house (stage) as well as back of house.

+ Handles disturbances or problems that arise during events. If necessary, escort disruptive individual(s) off the premises.

+ Possess the ability to maintain objectively and professionalism when responding to agitated individuals. And possess verbal skills to prevent the escalation of a difficult situation.

+ Write incident reports and meet with security supervisor to review procedures.

+ Assist with crowd control inside and outside of the venues.

+ Act in a professional manner with guests, staff, clients, vendors, ect.

+ Must maintain a clean, neat appearance at all times.

+ Other duties may be assigned.

You must possess a valid guard card and Californias drivers license. Employment based solely on experience, aptitude, abilities and training.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. Must have the ability to stand or walk for several continuous hours. Applicant should be strong to assist in lifting patrons over barricade or from the floor.

Compensation

The salary range is $16.00 per hour.
