Job Title: Experienced Freight Broker
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our dynamic team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for negotiating and coordinating the transportation of goods between shippers and carriers. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with both shippers and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
* Negotiate freight rates with carriers to obtain the best possible rates for our clients.
* Coordinate the transportation of goods from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
* Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to secure ongoing business partnerships.
* Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients on the status of their freight.
* Resolve any issues or delays in transportation and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
* Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve our services.
Requirements:
* Experience in LTL, FTL, Intermodal or Air and Ocean Freight
* Proven experience as a Freight Broker, with a strong understanding of transportation logistics and regulations.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Proficiency in using transportation management software and other relevant tools.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
