Industrial Painter – Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our welding and fabrication team. This role involves preparing and painting metal structures, parts, and finished weldments using spray guns, brushes, or rollers. Key responsibilities include surface preparation (grinding, sanding, cleaning), mixing and applying coatings, ensuring proper coverage, and following safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial-grade paints and coatings, understands technical drawings, and can work independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliable work ethic are essential.
Requirements:
Study manuals and be familiar with proper operation and maintenance of painting equipment. Be familiar with the process of spray painting and mixture. Before painting tank, be sure all surfaces are free of dust, dirt, and spatter. Apply paint evenly without runs or drips, and carefully move tank forward on monorail.
