Job Title: Software Engineer

Pay rate: $52 to $55 per hour

Duration: Until 10/30/2026

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Milan, IL, 61264

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform analysis, design, and development for client's customer facing applications using Javascript, React, Redux, Node JS and Amazon Web Services
• Ability to troubleshoot wide-ranging issues across customer facing applications which can involve cross-organization dependencies
• Familiar with best practices for modern web development that include application hardening, performance monitoring, continuous deployment, and regression testing
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders to define and clarify product requirements and system design
• Able to perform code reviews to maintain high quality and easily maintainable source code
• Have a keen eye for attention to detail while working through user stories that can impact user behavior, application performance, and code complexity
• Excellent communicator who can bring attention to blockers, gaps in requirements, and keep the team and stakeholders well informed on progress
• Experienced in writing unit and regression tests in order to maintain the overall quality and maintainability of applications
• Be able to work with Tier 2 support for customer application issues when needed

NICE TO HAVES

• Have worked with Typescript on a production application
• Have a deep understanding of the performance issues in modern web applications and can speak to them
• Developed and integrated micro-frontends for web applications that included complex dependencies
