Our client, located in Farmers Branch, TX, is a dynamic property management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for their residents. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join their team and help connect prospective tenants with their ideal homes.

Job Summary

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for marketing and leasing residential properties, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Property Marketing: Showcase available units through tours, open houses, and digital marketing efforts to attract prospective tenants.
• Lead Management: Respond promptly to inquiries, qualify applicants, and guide them through the leasing process.
• Lease Administration: Prepare and explain lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Market Research: Stay informed about local market trends, competitor pricing, and community developments to effectively position properties.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applicant information, and property availability in company systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in leasing, real estate, sales, or customer service (preferred but not required).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license is required.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Background check and drug test are required.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
