About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Leasing Agent to join the dynamic leasing team at a portfolio of buildings in Manhattan. The ideal candidate has worked on-site or as a licensed real estate agent in New York City. Communication, customer service, presentation skills, and follow-up skills are crucial for success in this role. The position will be based in Midtown Manhattan There is a tremendous opportunity for advancement in this role; strong agents will be on a career trajectory toward Senior roles including Leasing Management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Showing available units for rent; giving tours of building and amenities
• Assist prospective residents with the application process
• Collect paperwork for the application process
• Conduct lease signings and ensure the accuracy of all lease documents
• Track inventory, provide detailed traffic reports to Senior Management
• Conduct regular inspections of vacant units and common areas
• Interface with residents to address issues and concerns
• Work collaboratively with other departments

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-6 years of on-site leasing experience
• Knowledge of Fair Housing practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• On-Site, Yardi, Building Link, Nestio a plus
• Knowledge of rent stabilization laws and lease riders
• Must be able to work Saturdays or at least one weekend day

Compensation

$50,000 base plus commissions - expected earnings in the $85,000 - $90,000 range (conservatively!)
