Organization Change Management Specialist

Onsite/Hybrid in Jackson, MS

Long Term Contract

Business Objective:

The Organization Change Management (OCM) Specialist will assist in ensuring a smooth transition from a Child Care/Child Support Enforcement legacy system to a new, integrated system. This role involves providing oversight and guidance, working closely with the client, getting team members to understand the changes to mitigate resistance, and ensuring effective engagement with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the OCM manager and state counterparts to operationalize the OCM plan.
• Participate in design sessions to understand and implement changes in business processes.
• Execute the change management roadmap and ensure resource readiness for the transition.
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure a smooth transition from the legacy system to the new system.
• Engage with stakeholders to mitigate resistance and ensure understanding of changes.
• Attend status report meetings and contribute to monthly newsletters.
• Conduct monthly touchpoints and establish a small change network.
• Work closely with the Economic Assistance user group and ensure staff understand upcoming changes.
• Facilitate the adoption of business process improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in large-scale OCM services and system modernization projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Onsite presence required, with proximity to Jackson, MS.
• Experience in healthcare, government, claims, or similar industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with Prosci ADKAR principles and methodologies.
• PROSCI certification/training preferred.
• Personable, persuasive, and able to mitigate resistance effectively.
