We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Physician Assistant for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in California. This 10-day assignment, starting on 05/12/2025, offers a full-time schedule in a clinic setting. The provider will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, seeing patients 18 and under for both sick and well visits. The role involves managing 3 to 4 patients per hour, with dedicated time for charting. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated pediatric physician assistant to deliver high-quality care to a diverse pediatric population, utilizing the Nextgen electronic health record system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct sick and well visits for pediatric patients 18 and under

• Manage 3 to 4 patients per hour

• Provide preventive care and immunizations

• Utilize Nextgen electronic health record system for patient management

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

• Ensure patient and family satisfaction

• Adhere to the specified schedule

• Complete charting during designated times between patient visits

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed in California

• Comfortable with high-volume pediatric care

• Experience in managing both acute and chronic pediatric conditions

• Last morning appointment scheduled at 11 AM, with remaining time until lunch for charting
