Job Summary

As a Dialysis RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring complex assessments and interventions, all while adhering to our established policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource for dialysis care, supervising support staff and assessing daily patient needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for dialysis patients.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Address patient care complaints through established channels.
• Maintain machine maintenance and collaborate with home dialysis departments.
• Conduct surveillance and testing of dialysis water treatment equipment.
• Educate patients on their medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Apply evidence-based practices to ensure age-specific and clinical needs are met.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of registered nurse experience.

Physical Requirements

• Constant use of speech for communication.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional lifting/moving of patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent use of vision, hearing, and smell for patient care.
