Live-in Nanny & Home Manager | Houston, TXAbout Our Family

We are a professional family in Houston seeking an experienced, dedicated Live-in Nanny and Home Manager to join our household. We have three wonderful children: Liam (2), Caroline (8), and Grace (11). Our family values education, structure, and nurturing care while maintaining a warm, supportive home environment.

Position Overview

We're looking for a full-time, live-in professional who can provide consistent, attentive childcare while also managing household operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in both childcare and home management, being comfortable with multiple age groups and efficient in handling household administration.

Primary Responsibilities:Child and Home Care
  • Provide engaged, developmentally appropriate care for three children ages 2, 8, and 11
  • Manage children's daily routines including meals, hygiene, and activities
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
  • Support school-aged children with homework and educational enrichment
  • Implement age-appropriate activities for our toddler's development
  • Transport children to/from school daily (all children attend school)
  • Handle drop-offs and pickups for school and activities
  • Perform all household laundry including washing, drying, folding, and putting away children's and family clothing, bedding, and towels
  • Maintain organization of children's spaces and family living areas
  • Prepare family meals and clean kitchen after meal preparation
Home Management
  • Manage household bills, statements, and financial paperwork
  • Coordinate family calendar and scheduling
  • Arrange and oversee service providers (cleaners, maintenance, etc.)
  • Manage household inventory and ordering supplies
  • Handle routine correspondence and administrative tasks
  • Plan and coordinate family vacations and travel arrangements
  • Maintain household filing systems and important documents
  • Coordinate special events and family gatherings as needed
  • Perform daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, and bathroom maintenance
  • Handle grocery shopping and meal planning for the family
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the home
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed throughout the home
  • Care for family dog including feeding, walking, and basic grooming
  • Run essential household errands as needed
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional childcare experience
  • Experience with household management and administrative tasks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong financial organization and basic bookkeeping skills
  • Valid driver's license with excellent driving record
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong cooking and meal preparation skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and time management
  • Technology proficient (calendar apps, bill payment systems, etc.)
  • Background check and verifiable references required
  • Comfortable with pet care and dog walking
Preferred Qualifications
  • Early childhood education background or certification
  • Experience managing household budgets and expenses
  • Previous administrative or executive assistant experience
  • Swimming and water safety certification
  • Experience with special dietary requirements and meal planning
